PIPE DREAMS

Humorous gardening illustrations

My attempts to grow extra-large vegetables are rarely successful. Impatience and hunger are the main reasons! As I wanted to take a break from my normal paintings, I decided to have some fun at my own expense and came up with the potato with me looking exhausted after digging it up. Now, I have painted a series called ‘Pipe Dreams,’ which has provided days of fun. A holiday of sorts from my still life paintings.
